Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux)

In this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role, you will help design, deploy, and operate core systems for a London-based fibre network disruptor. You’ll manage a mix of hypervisors, VMs, containers, and bare-metal environments, while building automation, monitoring, and tooling to keep systems scalable and secure. You’ll work with Linux/Unix, scripting (Python preferred; Bash or PowerShell), and Windows where needed. You’ll leverage virtualization, container orchestration, and observability stacks to ensure reliability. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative culture with ambitious growth and tangible impact.

• Design, deploy, and operate core infrastructure systems
• Maintain hypervisors, VMs, containers, and bare-metal environments
• Build out automation, monitoring, and tooling for scalability and reliability
• Work with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Python preferred)
• Collaborate on virtualization, container orchestration, and observability stacks
• Utilize configuration management tools to manage infrastructure

• Proven experience with Linux/Unix systems (RedHat or Debian based)
• Scripting in Python (preferred), Bash, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with Windows environments
• Experience with virtualization and container orchestration
• Experience building and managing monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible or Puppet)
