Overview

In this role you will design, build, and operate the worldwide infrastructure for White & Case, focusing on scalable cloud and on-premise environments. You will drive automation and standardization across AWS and Azure, aligning with the firm’s security and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with application teams to improve cloud readiness and deploy reliable, secure services. You’ll contribute to cutting-edge technology initiatives, including cloud and AI-driven solutions, while safeguarding client data. This is a globally distributed team role that emphasizes cross-functional leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across AWS and Azure with governance, scalability, and security in mind
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar) for infrastructure and application delivery
  • Write Terraform code to implement infrastructure as code following best practices
  • Create Ansible playbooks/workflows to automate infrastructure and business processes
  • Develop automation scripts integrating cloud services with security/identity platforms (CyberArk, Duo)
  • Collaborate with application teams to enhance cloud readiness and smooth deployments
  • Review code contributions in GitLab and provide actionable feedback
  • Lead or participate in initiatives for integration and management of complex multi-vendor datacenter environments
Key requirements
  • Azure infrastructure design and deployment using IaC
  • AWS infrastructure design and deployment using IaC
  • Reusable Terraform modules (Azure modules a plus)
  • Python scripting for automation
  • Hands-on infra management in Azure and AWS (tenant config and governance)
  • Ansible playbooks; Ansible Tower/AWX a plus
  • CI/CD pipeline development with GitLab or equivalents
  • Docker and containerized workloads; Kubernetes highly preferred
  • Strong design background for both application and infrastructure
  • Cross-cultural collaboration with stakeholders and teams; effective communication
  • Willingness to travel or work overtime; fluent in English
