Senior innovations Technologist (Beverages)

In this role you will support end-to-end product development and commercialisation for ADM's site-manufactured products. You will collaborate with the Senior Innovations Technologist and NPD Manager on customer briefs and sample preparation, ensuring accuracy and hygienic handling. You’ll contribute to evaluating new raw materials, participate in factory trials and product launches, and support shelf-life and microbiological/organoleptic standards. The role blends hands-on lab work with cross-site coordination and customer-facing activities, within a safety-conscious, growth-focused team.

• Assist in end-to-end product development and commercialisation processes
• Collaborate with Senior Innovations Technologist and NPD Manager on customer briefs and sample dispatch
• Prepare and label samples and accompanying documentation (Submission Sheets, Sample Advice Notes)
• Enter recipes on the FDL system and manage related records
• Assess suitability of new raw materials with NPD Manager/Head of Lab
• Follow Lab Health and Safety procedures and operate equipment appropriately
• Attend factory trials and product launches, understanding factory processes
• Assist with shelf-life trials to establish microbiological and organoleptic standards
• Support visits from customers and contribute to Innovation Team projects
• Provide flexible support across the team as required

• Degree level education in Food Science or Technology or similar
• Industry experience (including as part of a degree)
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexibility to travel to other sites, sometimes at short notice
• Excellent communication skills
