Senior Internal Audit Manager, IT

In this IT Senior Audit Manager role, you lead complex technology audits and risk assessments across the Group, shaping technology assurance with senior stakeholders. You will partner with the technology leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality audit outcomes and guide the future direction of technology risk management. This position offers exposure to executives and major strategic initiatives, with a focus on sustainable risk reduction and people development. You help enable better investments by connecting risk insight to business decisions, in a collaborative, data- and technology-driven environment.

• Lead annual technology audit planning and risk-based coverage for the Group
• Deliver complex technology audits and assurance workstreams within integrated audits
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior technology stakeholders
• Oversee issue validation, portfolio quality and reporting to identify risk themes
• Coach and develop audit professionals and allocate resources effectively
• Act as deputy to the Head of Audit IT and represent Internal Audit in governance forums

• Significant internal audit, risk or assurance experience within financial services with leadership responsibility
• Proven ability to lead complex, risk-based technology audits across multiple business areas
• Experience of integrated audits and partnering with business audit teams and senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of technology risks in large financial services organisations
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-management skills
• Relevant professional qualification such as CISA, CISM or CRISC
