About the Role

Our client, a well-established investment firm located in Kimberley , is seeking a skilled Senior Investment Analyst to join their investment management team. This role is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of financial markets, securities, and economic trends to support investment decisions. You will play a crucial role in portfolio construction, risk assessment, and performance evaluation. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of investment strategies, and a passion for delivering superior investment outcomes for clients in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental and quantitative analysis of stocks, bonds, and other investment instruments.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to assess investment opportunities and risks.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends and their potential impact on investment portfolios.
• Contribute to investment strategy formulation and portfolio construction.
• Prepare detailed investment research reports and presentations for the investment committee.
• Track portfolio performance and conduct attribution analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; CFA designation or progress towards it is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or a related financial field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, and valuation techniques.
• Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
