Senior iOS Engineer

In this role you will contribute to Zopa’s mobile platform as a key iOS engineer. You’ll shape technical direction, build reusable modules and tooling, and partner with product, design and backend teams to deliver fast, reliable customer-facing experiences. You’ll stay hands-on with Swift/SwiftUI and help raise the capability of peers through coaching and code reviews. This position offers a chance to advance mobile architecture in a scale-up fintech with a strong focus on developer experience and quality.

• Shape and evolve iOS architecture, APIs, and tooling to enable multiple teams to ship confidently
• Deliver production-quality Swift/SwiftUI code for customer-facing work
• Identify technical risks using profiling, observability and data to improve performance and reliability
• Develop shared modules, design systems and CI/CD enhancements
• Mentor peers through pairing, code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend and Android to align decisions across disciplines

• Strong experience building and maintaining customer-facing iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI
• Deep knowledge of iOS development (concurrency, performance, memory management, testing, accessibility, security)
• Solid architectural and API-design judgement with focus on maintainability and developer experience
• Proactive problem-solver who can influence improvements beyond their team
