Senior iOS Engineer
Intellectual Capital Resources
In this role you will own the iOS architecture and delivery for a high-performance mobile product that supports IoT, GPS, and computer vision. You will work closely with Robotics and Computer Vision engineers to deliver a resilient, low-latency native app and seamless hardware integrations over Bluetooth. You’ll optimize sensor-fusion and manage real-time data on mobile hardware, balancing performance with power. This is a pivotal position in a fast-growing team aiming to scale impact for millions of users.
Responsibilities- Own and architect the iOS system and maintain a high-performance native application using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency patterns
- Develop seamless hardware integrations via Bluetooth (Core Bluetooth, BLE)
- Collaborate with Robotics and Computer Vision engineers to align software with hardware and algorithms
- Optimize sensor-fusion algorithms and solvers (e.g., Ceres) for real-time mobile execution
- Manage memory, threading, and ARM constraints to ensure low-latency, high-uptime performance
- Integrate low-level C++ and/or Rust codebases with the iOS frontend (Swift/SwiftUI)
- Work with time-series and high-frequency data and potentially fleets of edge devices in IoT/Robotics
- Design and maintain highly resilient systems with minimal downtime and latency
- Experience with Firebase, GPS/GNSS, and connected devices would be beneficial
- Native iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI
- Core Bluetooth and BLE
- Background data processing and power management
- Strong C++ and/or Rust
- Solid understanding of iOS SDKs, UIKit, and SwiftUI
- Experience with high-frequency time-series data and edge-device fleets (IoT/Robotics)
- Proven track record building resilient, low-latency systems
- Swift
- SwiftUI
- Core Bluetooth
- BLE
- C++
- Rust
