Overview

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Plum, you will help build and refine the iOS app from its early days, delivering a polished experience that helps users manage their money. You will work within a Mobile engineering team and cross-functional squads to ship robust, user-centric features. You’ll own end-to-end delivery, mentor juniors, and collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to push the product forward. This role offers a chance to shape a fintech app used by millions across Europe and to contribute to a data-driven, high-trust engineering culture.

Responsibilities
  • Build and iterate the iOS app with a focus on reliability and user experience
  • Own features from concept through shipping in the App Store and post-release improvements
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers across squads
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture
  • Support testing and QA through a robust testing pyramid and automation
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and invest in maintainable, scalable code
Key requirements
  • Strong understanding of the iOS SDK and its frameworks
  • Proficiency in Swift and keeping up with latest changes
  • Experience writing robust, testable code with a comprehensive testing pyramid
  • Proven track record of shipping and iterating apps in the App Store
  • Ability to take ownership and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Product-minded with understanding of impact of work
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to add quality touch
