Senior iOS Engineer II - Account Mobile

In this role, you will join the Account Mobile team to deliver a cohesive iOS experience for Wise Account users. You’ll work closely with product, design and analytics to shape the mobile experience across Wise’s native apps, while driving quality, performance and scalability for a global product. You’ll influence app architecture, collaborate with many mobile engineers, and help raise UX and code quality. This role offers the chance to impact cross-currency tools used by customers worldwide.

• Plan, scope and build consistent experiences across Wise’s native apps and web with a customer-centric focus
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful user experiences
• Own the overall health and quality of the iOS project
• Coordinate with other iOS/Android engineers to keep the iOS product current and aligned with best practices
• Ensure code is clean, maintainable and efficient to optimize performance, load times and stability

• Proven experience in building and deploying a customer-facing app
• Proficiency in Swift
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, or VIPER architectures (VIPER and MVVM used; open to new approaches)
• Desire to write testable code
• Understanding of REST API design
• Strong product mindset with user-centric, data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
