Senior IP Network Engineer Kimberley

As a Senior IP Network Engineer, you will support a telecommunications provider’s IP backbone infrastructure. Your work covers BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, TCP/IP networking, and network security. The position focuses on maintaining high availability and performance for diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor performance and implement network optimization strategies
• Troubleshoot complex IP network issues and minimize downtime
• Maintain access controls and intrusion prevention measures
• Develop diagrams, documentation, and operating procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS
