Senior Infrastructure Engineer

A specialist investment firm is looking for a hands‑on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to look after and improve its global infrastructure. You’ll work closely with teams across the business, from trading and operations to risk and compliance.

What you’ll do

• Run and support day‑to‑day infrastructure across Azure, M365, networking, servers, storage and end‑user computing
• Be the escalation point for complex incidents
• Handle security controls, patching, vulnerability management and audit work
• Take part in DR testing and resilience exercises
• Deliver upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects
• Work with vendors and managed service providers

What you’ll need

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure, M365, Entra ID/AD, Intune, Windows Server and VMware
• Solid networking skills (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
• Storage, backup and DR experience
• A background as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Specialist or Lead
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical people

Nice to have

• Financial services experience, ideally asset management or hedge funds
• Bloomberg or trading system support
• Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), Linux or scripting
• Infrastructure as Code
