Senior IT Infrastructure Operations Lead

Lead on-premises and cloud infrastructure operations with Peel Regional Police, directing secure, continuously available services across a 24/7 environment.

As Senior Lead-IT Infrastructure Operations, you will guide Infrastructure Supervisors and multidisciplinary teams. Your scope includes networks, unified communications, compute, storage, backup, servers, databases and data centres. You will support stable service delivery, security, ITIL practices and continuous improvement across infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily delivery of on-premises and cloud infrastructure services
• Coach supervisors and oversee multidisciplinary infrastructure teams
• Maintain operational stability, security and defined service levels
• Improve incident, change, capacity and performance-management practices
• Coordinate infrastructure projects, vendors and operational readiness

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, engineering or information technology
• Seven years of enterprise infrastructure experience
• Five years supervising multidisciplinary infrastructure teams
• Knowledge of Azure, VMware, Windows Server and enterprise storage
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call support
