Senior IT Support Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 per year

• At least 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience working at a managed services provider (MSP).
• Experience installing and configuring Windows 11 Professional workstations and connecting them to Windows domains.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Windows Server 2016–2025.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting workstations, printers, VoIP phones, and wired and wireless networks.
• Ability to replace basic computer components, such as power supplies, memory, and keyboards.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with cloud email and collaboration tools, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Experience designing and administering IaaS environments, including Azure and AWS.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers and vendors, communicate in person and by phone with peers, managers, and vendors, handle multiple requests, prioritize work, and manage projects.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, as specified in the application questions.
• Must be able to relocate to Westminster, Colorado, before starting work.
• Preferred: mid-career IT support experience and advanced knowledge of commonly used small- and medium-business IT platforms and software.
• Preferred: IT security and compliance or government-work background, Linux administration experience, and scripting and automation skills.
• MSP experience and experience with IT security and compliance frameworks such as NIST and CMMC are especially valued.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve workstation and server hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose network problems as directed.
• Support users in person and remotely, including guiding them through setup and issue resolution face-to-face, by phone, or by email.
• Help users with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Assist users with cloud applications such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Manage user accounts, security groups, and policies in Windows Domain, Entra ID, and Okta SSO environments.
• Design and implement IT systems to meet client requirements and our standards, including cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and on-premises Windows and Linux servers and networking.
