This Java Software Engineer role requires participation across the whole development lifecycle. You will define application requirements, write testable code, and maintain code quality. The work includes performance improvement, documentation, and application troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define application requirements for performant, scalable applications
  • Participate throughout the whole development lifecycle
  • Write efficient, testable code and troubleshoot applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest performance improvements
  • Write and update technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years developing Java applications
  • Experience working with relational databases
  • Familiarity with test-driven development and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of SQL, J2EE, Microservices, Agile, and Scrum
