Senior Java Applications Development Lead

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst establishes and implements application systems and programs with Citi’s Technology team. This senior position leads applications systems analysis and programming activities. It combines software design, system integration, coding standards, performance analysis, and developer coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with management teams to define system enhancements
• Resolve high-impact problems through complex process evaluation
• Ensure application designs follow the architecture blueprint
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Coach developers and analysts while allocating work

Requirements:

• Eight or more years in applications development or systems analysis
• Advanced Java 8+, message queues, RDBMS, and REST APIs
• Extensive JVM-based language experience, including Scala
• Microservices, multithreaded applications, and reactive architectures
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; master’s preferred
