Senior Java Applications Development Lead

This senior-level Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst coordinates application systems and programming with Citi’s Technology team. The work includes evaluating complex business processes, defining enhancements, and supporting new products and process improvements. You will guide application design, coding standards, testing, debugging, implementation, and distributed system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with management teams to integrate functions and define enhancements
• Resolve high-impact problems through complex systems and process evaluation
• Ensure application designs follow the overall architecture blueprint
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Advise mid-level developers and analysts while allocating work

Requirements:

• Eight or more years in applications development or systems analysis
• Advanced Java 8+, message queues, RDBMS, and REST APIs
• Experience with Scala and JVM-based languages
• Experience designing multi-threaded applications and microservices architectures
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; master’s preferred
