Senior Java AWS DevOps Developer

Build Java applications with Spring Boot and AWS at Nasdaq while supporting reliable cloud-ready delivery on a Wednesday-to-Sunday schedule.

This Software Developer role contributes to web-based and back-end server applications for financial securities customers. You will collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams using iterative delivery methods. The work emphasizes application engineering, automated testing, CI/CD automation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Java-based enterprise applications
• Build CI/CD pipelines and modernize deployment practices
• Write infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Support AWS configuration and cloud-enabled deployments
• Troubleshoot production and pre-production application issues

Requirements:

• Strong Java development experience, preferably with Spring Boot
• Experience with Maven, Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Familiarity with AWS services, containers, RDS, SNS/SQS, and Terraform
• Experience with Angular, React, or another modern UI framework
• Comfort with Linux command-line environments and automation scripting
