Senior Java Backend Engineer: Microservices & Spring Boot

We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with a passion for building high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance Microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and release activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Agile development teams.
• Create automation scripts and tools where required.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 preferred).
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, or similar version control tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
