Senior Java Cloud Engineering Lead

Drive cloud-native Java engineering at Citi with Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and scalable enterprise application development experience.

This senior-level Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst leads technical delivery for an agile development pod. You will shape containerized deployments, CI/CD improvements, resilient microservices, observability, and secure software practices while mentoring engineers and partnering with Product Owners, Project Managers, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift deployment strategies
• Define Helm charts, health probes, autoscaling, and deployment approaches
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and security scans
• Implement telemetry, logging, tracing, and monitoring practices
• Resolve production bottlenecks through JVM analysis and tuning

Requirements:

• Six to ten years in software engineering and enterprise applications
• Experience leading engineering teams or serving as technical lead
• Proficiency with Maven, Gradle, Git, and Jenkins or Tekton
• Advanced JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
