Senior Java Cloud-Native Developer

Design Java enterprise and Cloud-Native applications as a Senior Software Developer working in the office three days weekly. Apply secure, scalable development practices.

This senior developer analyzes, designs, builds, and supports complex software products. You will work with Business Analysts, UX and UI Designers, Product Managers, and Cloud Architects. The work includes Java EE, Angular, React, Microservice Architecture, Cloud-Native PaaS, and AODA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop application designs and technical specification documents
• Construct and enhance Cloud-Native web applications
• Support quality assurance, testing, and defect management
• Investigate incidents and troubleshoot production Java applications
• Coordinate development activities and provide knowledge transfer

Requirements:

• 10+ years developing Java enterprise and Cloud-Native applications
• 15+ years in object-oriented analysis and design
• 3+ years with Microservice Architecture and Cloud-Native design
• Experience with Angular, React, Redux, GraphQL, and Node.js
• Public sector experience in Canada and secure web development
