- Upgrade legacy applications to modern Spring Boot versions (2.x → 3.x)
- Decommission Hazelcast in distributed systems
- Refactor for stateless, scalable microservices
- Enhance event-driven integrations using Kafka
- Support Murex batch and real-time processing
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams on migration/rollout
- Participate in code reviews and production support
- Ensure performance, resilience and fault tolerance
- Strong commercial Java development experience
- Solid knowledge of Java ecosystem
- Experience with Spring and/or Spring Boot
- Dependency management with Maven and/or Gradle
- Upgrading Java libraries/frameworks
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Secure coding practices and risk awareness
- Debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with legacy Java apps and impact assessment of upgrades
