Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer you will shape backend services for our ad-serving platform, collaborating with product and design to deliver scalable, reliable systems. You’ll lead technical decisions, mentor peers, and drive automated testing and clean code practices. The role sits in the DAX engineering team and centres on delivering high-impact audio advertising capabilities at scale. You’ll work across the full lifecycle from design to production, focusing on performance, reliability and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on how campaigns are delivered and optimised.

• Product & delivery: define and deliver backend services and APIs with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences across platforms.
• Engineering excellence: design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with clean code, contract-first design, and robust automated testing.
• Leadership & collaboration: mentor engineers, promote best practices, and coordinate with engineering and operations to ensure reliability, performance and scalability of live services.

• Backend engineering expertise with Java and modern Spring/Spring Boot
