Senior Java Developer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to Agile software delivery as part of a cross-functional Scrum team, building maintainable Java solutions on AWS and collaborating to improve development guidelines. You will work on client-focused features, extend microservices, and create user-oriented documentation. • Develop Java software on the AWS Cloud following best practices while contributing to microservices architecture
• Collaborate in an Agile, cross-functional team to drive decisions and deliver maintainable solutions
• Participate in all SDLC phases from requirements through deployment and support
• Contribute to quality through robust unit and regression testing
• Create clear, user-focused project documentation for client users
• Support and enhance existing guidelines and contribute to process improvements

• 5+ years Java development experience
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot 1 & 2) for microservices
• SQL databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of all SDLC phases from requirements to deployment and support
• Strong unit and regression testing experience
• Commitment to quality and best practices in code development
• Ability to adapt to varied projects and situations
