Senior Java Developer

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements

• Several years of Java development experience, including Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with databases such such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with Git version control
• Good to have: experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Good to have: experience with OAuth2 and JWT security
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD automation
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 8+ applications using Spring Boot
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures
• Build and expose RESTful APIs
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
