In this Senior Java Engineer role, you contribute as a senior technical authority within the Engineering team, delivering high-quality Java solutions for client projects. You work closely with cross-functional squads to drive architecture, DevOps practices, and reliable delivery, while mentoring others and upholding quality standards. • Lead engineering efforts in Java and related tech across client projects
• Mentor junior engineers and support Squad Leads to achieve project goals
• Implement and promote practices such as TDD, SOLID, and XP
• Contribute to architecture, DevOps, performance, and security considerations
• Champion CI/CD and deployment workflows
• Produce clear documentation and support knowledge sharing

• Proven lead engineer experience in commercial development with strong Java and JavaScript skills
• Commercial experience with agile methodologies
• Ability to translate business concerns into technical decisions and manage stakeholder expectations
• Experience in architecture, DevOps, performance, or security with ownership of best practices
• Mentoring capability and capability to guide a development team toward quality delivery
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployments
• Experience in documenting and sharing knowledge
