Senior Java Developer (low latency)

Senior Java-focused role shaping high‑performance market-data platforms. You will design and optimize low-latency, high-throughput systems that ingest and distribute real-time feeds across EMEA and US markets. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, performance, and regulatory alignment in a Linux, kernel-bypass environment. This role offers impact by improving throughput, latency, and stability in mission-critical trading infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency Java applications
• Profile and tune JVM performance (GC, memory, threads, latency)
• Develop and optimize low-latency network components and kernel-bypass solutions
• Integrate proprietary direct feeds and market-data distribution protocols across EMEA and US Options markets
• Identify bottlenecks and improve throughput, latency, and resource utilization
• Investigate production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, implement fixes
• Support deployment and production processes within Linux environments
• Collaborate with global development, infrastructure, support, and business teams to deliver reliable market-data solutions

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with Core Java and performance-critical systems
• Proven JVM profiling and performance tuning experience
• Strong Linux development and production troubleshooting experience
• Experience designing and developing low-latency, high-throughput, mission-critical applications
• Strong knowledge of low-latency network programming (TCP/IP, sockets, data processing, kernel-bypass)
• Working knowledge of C++ in performance-sensitive environments
• Experience with real-time market-data or electronic-trading platforms, including direct feeds and distribution protocols
