Senior Java Developer Montreal Hybrid

As a Senior Java Developer, you will work at Associate level within Software Engineering III. The position focuses on designing and maintaining Java EE and Core Java applications across the software development lifecycle. You will integrate RESTful services, develop Kafka systems, and deliver database solutions using SQL and MongoDB. Automated testing, technical troubleshooting, architecture discussions, and mentoring are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise Java EE and Core Java applications
• Integrate RESTful services with internal and external systems
• Develop Kafka-based event-driven and distributed messaging systems
• Implement SQL, data modeling, and MongoDB database solutions
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to architecture decisions

Requirements:

• Five or more years with Java EE or Core Java
• Experience with Java 21, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of JUnit, BDD, SQL, MongoDB, and Kafka
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments and system integration
• French and English proficiency with strong communication skills
