Requirements

  • We require 4+ years of experience coding in Java.
  • We value a passion for open-source technologies.
  • We work with Agile engineering principles such as TDD, XP, and pair programming.
  • Nice to have: experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink.
  • Nice to have: experience working in cloud-native environments.
  • Nice to have: experience deploying to the cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Nice to have: previous use of technologies such as Apache Druid.

Responsibilities

  • We are building out our first firmwide data analytics platform from the ground up.
  • We want engineers who bring new ideas and use bleeding-edge technologies.
  • You will help design, develop, and deliver a greenfield platform from inception through delivery.
  • You will tackle complex technical problems and contribute to an open-source-friendly engineering culture.
  • You will work within a team that values fresh ideas and encourages influence on the direction of the platform.
