Overview

In this role you will build and maintain large-scale payment systems within cloud-native architectures. You will work closely with major banking clients to implement the ICON IPF framework, applying Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You contribute to modern, data-driven transformations that accelerate payments capabilities. You will help shape payments delivery in a fast-paced, innovation-led environment and partner with cross-functional teams across regions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and operate large-scale payment systems using Java 11, Spring Boot, and microservices
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions in AWS
  • Work with Apache Kafka and asynchronous messaging for robust event-driven architectures
  • Apply ISO 20022 payments knowledge to platform capabilities and payment schemes
  • Hands-on implementation of ICON IPF and related payments components
  • Collaborate with major banking clients and both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to end-to-end delivery and integration efforts in large programs
Key requirements
  • Extensive hands-on Java experience (5-10 years)
  • Strong Spring Boot and microservices background
  • Proven AWS cloud experience
  • Solid Apache Kafka experience
  • In-depth ISO 20022 payments knowledge
  • Hands-on ICON IPF experience
  • Experience working with major banking clients
  • Strong communication skills with varied stakeholders
