Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Lead Java development for enterprise web applications and platform services in Toronto, working fully onsite five days weekly throughout an 11-month contract.

This Senior Software Developer role spans technical design, development, integration, and maintenance. You will build microservices, REST APIs, reusable platform components, and database solutions. The work covers user-interface, API, workflow, integration, and data-access layers within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate technical specifications into tested, secure enterprise applications
• Build Java microservices, REST APIs, and reusable platform capabilities
• Develop database objects, queries, transformations, and integration workflows
• Implement JWT, OAuth 2.0, SSL, and identity integrations
• Maintain automated unit, integration, API, database, and interface tests

Requirements:

• 10+ years designing large-scale, multi-client web applications
• Extensive Java experience with Oracle, SQL, or comparable databases
• Significant REST API and microservices architecture experience
• Experience with JWT, OAuth 2.0, SSL, and secure communications
• Experience integrating identity and access systems
