Senior Java Fullstack Angular developer

The Senior Java/React Full stack Lead Programmer Analyst is a senior technical role responsible for leading application development initiatives and driving design decisions across systems. This isa 3 days Hybrid in Mississauga. Its a 6 months contract to hire role.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the requirements from the user
• Self motivated
• Attitude to take it to the end along with the technical skills listed in the qualifications
• Mentoring junior level developers, not managing them
• Working with junior developers to explain, assign code and review, guiding them to do the right coding
• Looking for Developers, not Architects
• React focused, if they know React they can switch to Angular. Have to be proficient in React. Angular is not required
• Fundamentals of how the structure works, how can they do the programming efficiently
• API integration
• Understanding of Java framework, what is written- as long as they are able to integrate APIs- review and understand code to integrate it (understand Core Java, but not extensive)
• Java, Spring Boot, Angular (having React they can pick up Angular), and microservices from the integration aspect

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in application development
• Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React/ Angular, and microservices architecture
• Strong experience with API design, SQL, and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (preferred), and DevOps practices
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Required Skills
