Build strategic risk technology at Citi as a Senior Java Developer specializing in Spring, Kafka, and microservices architecture. This is a full-time role.

As a senior technical leader, you will design and develop applications supporting Cross Asset Margin systems. Your work covers Java, distributed systems, relational databases, and API-first implementation. You will also guide engineering activities, strengthen development standards, and support regulatory-driven platforms serving capital markets users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design applications according to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards
  • Guide teams on design standards and workflow efficiency
  • Plan and execute smooth production releases
  • Coach developers and analysts while allocating work

Requirements:

  • Eight or more years of applications development experience
  • Advanced Java, Spring, Kafka, and distributed systems knowledge
  • Hands-on Oracle relational database experience
  • Microservices and enterprise architecture implementation experience
  • REST, WebSocket, and gRPC API implementation experience
