Senior Java Microservices Technical Lead

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst guides an agile development pod while designing resilient cloud-native applications. This position combines Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Oracle Database, and Kubernetes expertise with architectural governance. You will mentor engineers, modernize legacy systems, and apply AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical planning, work allocation, reviews, and engineering standards
• Design Java and Spring Boot cloud-native microservices
• Architect Kafka event-driven systems and secure REST APIs
• Drive Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CI/CD deployment strategies
• Implement testing, observability, performance tuning, and risk controls

Requirements:

• Six or more years in software engineering and enterprise applications
• Deep Java 17 or Java 21 experience
• Extensive Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices experience
• Proficiency with Kafka, Oracle Database, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; master’s preferred
