Senior Java Platform Engineer

Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited seeks a senior hands-on technical contributor for transportation, logistics, supply chain, and customs applications. You will maintain, troubleshoot, enhance, and modernize custom-developed systems. The work spans production support, application development, lifecycle upgrades, and technical improvements across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise applications
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
• Deliver changes through testing, deployment, and production implementation
• Support database, operating system, middleware, and framework upgrades
• Provide Level 3 support for business-critical transportation systems

Requirements:

• Eight-plus years in software engineering or application support
• Strong Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on Unix/Linux and Bash scripting experience
• Java experience including Struts, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Production support, debugging, and root cause analysis experience
