As a Senior Routing Engine Developer, you will develop distributed backend services for contact center operations. The work spans microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud-native engineering, and performance engineering. You will collaborate with product, architecture, workforce management, telephony, and CX platform teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design routing engines distributing voice and digital interactions
  • Implement routing algorithms using skills, priorities, capacity, and business rules
  • Optimize systems for concurrency, fault tolerance, and predictable performance
  • Maintain APIs for configuration, monitoring, and integrations
  • Integrate services with telephony, CRM, WFM, and analytics platforms

Requirements:

  • 8+ years software engineering experience
  • Expert Java and Spring Boot experience
  • Distributed systems and microservices architecture expertise
  • Contact center routing logic development experience
  • Knowledge of ACD, queues, skills, priorities, and workload balancing
