Senior Java Solution Architect

Lead Java architecture and delivery for mission-critical distributed systems as a Senior Solution Architect with six-plus years of experience. Build scalable, secure platforms. This full-time Technology role at Citi combines solution architecture, hands-on Java development, and engineering leadership. You will shape cloud-native microservices and event-driven systems while partnering with product, security, platform, and SRE teams. The work spans design, delivery, reliability, and technical mentorship. Key Responsibilities:

Define architecture for scalable, resilient, secure cloud-native platforms Create designs, integration patterns, API contracts, and reference implementations Lead squads through discovery, production, and SRE handoff Build Java 17+ services with Spring Boot and streaming Mentor senior engineers and lead architectural design reviews Requirements:

Six-plus years building enterprise systems and Java at scale Experience delivering cloud-native microservices and event-driven architectures Expertise with Spring Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Redis, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience Apply senior Java, architecture, cloud, and leadership expertise to Citi’s mission-critical distributed systems.
