Senior Java Spring Software Developer

Build Java and Spring systems for Ontario Teachers’ Member Services Product Engineering team through flexible office and remote work. Apply full lifecycle development expertise.

This senior position supports Member Services strategic initiatives within agile delivery squads. You will develop systems, collaborate with product owners, consumers, testers, and external teams, and bring features from conception through release. Your work includes software planning, testing, deployment, maintenance, and technical evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement high-quality systems under project leadership
• Develop plans supporting timely completion of assignments
• Participate in software planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Research technology trends and experiment with technical solutions
• Evolve technical environments and development practices

Requirements:

• Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent education
• Minimum five years using current software development techniques
• Extensive Java and Spring Framework experience
• Experience with Git, Maven, IDEs, and CI servers
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, SOAP, REST, and testing strategies
