Overview

In this role, you will design, build, and evolve a core enterprise platform that enables event-driven, cell-based architecture across the organization. You contribute to foundational platform capabilities that help teams publish, consume, govern, and operate events at scale. You will mentor others, promote modern engineering standards, and partner with product, architecture, and engineering to ensure alignment with business and regulatory needs. This position focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software while advancing engineering excellence within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality software with industry-standard languages, frameworks, and tools
  • Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements and align with business objectives
  • Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing
  • Stay updated on technology trends and contribute to technology communities
  • Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Implement effective unit testing for reliability and design quality
  • Mentor others and promote engineering excellence and standards

Key requirements
  • Experience designing, building, and operating Event Fabric capabilities for asynchronous, distributed systems
  • Contributed to event standards, patterns, and best practices for platform use
  • Ability to balance scalability, resilience, security, and developer experience in designs
  • Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks for production services
  • Strong DevOps/CI-CD practices, including automated testing and infrastructure as code
  • Hands-on cloud experience (AWS), Terraform, Kubernetes; familiarity with Azure or GCP
  • Collaborative mindset

  • Strong communication of complex concepts
