Senior KDB+/Q Developer

Requirements:

• Extensive commercial KDB+/Q experience
• Deep knowledge of complex KDB environments
• Experience designing, building and evolving KDB platforms
• Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge
• Previous technical leadership or architecture experience
• Background within capital markets or investment banking
• Comfortable working directly with senior business stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders
• Contribute to solution design and delivery
• Provide technical direction across the wider team
• Take technical ownership of complex, business-critical platforms

We are hiring a highly experienced Senior KDB+/Q Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with a large financial services organisation. This is a 12-month contract with potential extension, offered inside IR35, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring 3 days onsite in London. The rate is up to £950/day and the start date is ASAP.
