Join the Equity Accelerator programme to modernize critical Prime Finance Equities trading platforms. The role focuses on building and evolving highly scalable backend systems using Kotlin and Java, with event-driven, cloud-native architectures. Engineers will work directly on business-critical production systems while contributing to strategic platform transformation and market expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities

• - Design, develop, and maintain backend services for trading and post-trade platforms.- Build scalable event-driven applications and messaging-based integrations.- Develop services using Kotlin and Java within JVM ecosystems.- Contribute to architecture design and technology decisions.- Ensure software quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD).Implement reliable data processing, event replay, and failure recovery mechanisms.- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and frequent production deployments.- Analyze and resolve complex production and performance issues.- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across the equities domain.- Drive technical excellence and mentor other engineers.- Apply deep understanding of capital markets workflows to solution design.
