Senior Kotlin Java React Developer

Build secure full-stack solutions with Kotlin, Java, React, and SQL at Equisoft in a hybrid role based in Québec City. Work across analysis, development, and quality assurance.

As a Senior Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy solutions for Equisoft/centralize, an insurance agency management platform. The position involves microservices, web applications, APIs, software quality, and customer-focused problem solving. You will collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Specialists, and a Senior Release Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write robust, efficient, secure code from functional analyses
• Analyze features addressing business and technology needs
• Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Validate systems through scenario testing and functional tests
• Resolve bugs and complex customer issues across teams

Requirements:

• Eight to ten years of similar experience
• Excellent Kotlin or Java and SQL knowledge
• Microservice architecture and React or Angular experience
• GraphQL, REST APIs, SOLID, and object-oriented programming knowledge
• Experience using AI coding assistants responsibly
