Lead Kubernetes platform engineering for TELUS Digital from Canada, with remote flexibility and responsibility for secure, scalable production infrastructure.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you own features and work streams through production delivery. You will optimize GKE or comparable clusters, configure networking and ingress, and establish autoscaling policies. You will also support cloud-native adoption with client engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Kubernetes clusters and advanced networking
  • Configure ingress controllers and autoscaling policies
  • Define SLIs and actionable alerting policies
  • Automate operational tasks with scripts or CLI tools
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native patterns

Requirements:

  • Five to seven years of engineering experience
  • Three years focused on Cloud, DevOps, or SRE
  • Deep GKE or comparable platform administration skills
  • Python or Go proficiency for automation tooling
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification
