Job Summary

HC Habitation is seeking a dependable and proactive Senior Labourer (Site Support Specialist) to support field operations, service work, and overall site readiness across multiple residential construction projects. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond typical labour tasks. You will work closely with the Site Superintendent and play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly by anticipating needs, handling service and warranty calls, and maintaining organized, protected job sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, self-sufficient, and capable of planning their work based on project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job sites to ensure readiness for upcoming work
• Perform service and warranty-related tasks across multiple projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues independently
• Review construction schedules to plan and prioritize daily work
• Support Site Superintendent and site supervisors as needed
• Ensure proper site protection, cleanliness, and organization
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Travel between job sites within the Greater Montreal area

Requirements

• Experience in construction, general labour, or service-related work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Ability to handle physical work and lift materials as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Nice to Have

• Experience in residential construction
• Familiarity with service or warranty work
• Basic knowledge of multiple trades (carpentry, finishing, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage of approximately $38/hour (based on experience)
