Senior Lead Analyst (Product Engineer)

In this role you will lead and shape technical analysis across multi-team projects within John Lewis Partnership’s IT delivery and operations. You’ll work closely with product managers, delivery leads, architects, and senior engineers to ensure solutions align with business goals and operational needs. You’ll drive cross-functional change using adaptive methodologies, challenge scope to maximise business value, and support a learning-oriented environment. This is a senior, impact-focused role in a collaborative, hybrid setting with opportunities to grow into people leadership.

- Lead delivery of highly complex projects across multiple work streams with clearly defined requirements
- Elicit and manage business, technical, and operational requirements across a complex domain
- Collaborate with product managers, project managers, delivery leads, and architects to ensure alignment with objectives
- Advocate for improved analysis approaches and manage stakeholder expectations
- Plan, prioritise, and estimate work with delivery teams; manage cross-domain dependencies
- Share knowledge within the Analysis community and support other Analysts
- Possibly take on people management responsibilities for analysts and engineers
- Continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies to stay at the forefront of analysis techniques
- Experience delivering and supporting technical solutions in an IT delivery/operations environment
- Proven track record delivering cross-functional product initiatives
- Ability to autonomously drive analysis from concept through completion
- Strong prioritisation and attention to detail with analytical problem-solving
- Demonstrable innovation and delivery of change within a technical context
- Extensive stakeholder management with senior business and technical stakeholders
- Experience using varied requirement elicitation techniques and modelling complex problems
