Senior Lead Oracle Fusion Cloud Integration & Extension Consultant role

In this client-facing role you will lead the design and delivery of Oracle Integration Cloud integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud and external systems. You’ll establish reusable interface patterns, govern technical work, and stay hands-on through build, test, deployment, and defect resolution. You’ll gain exposure to Fusion extensions and workflow tooling and contribute to VBCS and OPA/PCS initiatives as you grow. This is part of a global Oracle practice focused on transformation and scalable cloud integrations. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive integration governance and high-quality delivery.

• Lead end-to-end OIC integration design, build and delivery between Oracle Fusion Cloud and enterprise systems
• Define reusable integration patterns for APIs, orchestration, scheduled processing, event-based flows and file interfaces
• Produce and maintain design artefacts (interfaces, mappings, transformations, deployment notes, support docs)
• Develop and optimise OIC integrations using app-driven orchestrations, REST/SOAP, file-based interfaces, and adapters
• Implement robust error handling, replay, recovery and operational support patterns
• Support performance tuning for high-volume integrations and secure integration patterns
• Coordinate with functional, data, reporting, and security teams; provide technical options and risk/assumptions
• Mentor developers and uphold integration standards and governance
• Contribute to VBCS/OPA/PCS extension activities and learn these areas as needed
• Support environment configuration, deployment sequencing, and release readiness for OIC artefacts
• Collaborate with Fusion data and migration teams on source/target alignment and reconciliation requirements
• Triage defects across Fusion, OIC and external system boundaries

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud in complex enterprise environments
• Design, build, test and support OIC integrations across Fusion Cloud and external platforms
• Understanding of Fusion ERP/HCM/EPM integration patterns (REST/SOAP, FBDI, HDL, BICC, BI Publisher, ESS jobs)
• Technical knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, schemas and payload mapping
• Secure integration design (OAuth2, certificates, secure FTP, encryption, connectivity agents)
• Error-handling, logging, retry, replay and reconciliation frameworks
• High-volume/integration performance tuning and operational support
• Ability to produce technical design documents, mappings, tests and deployment instructions
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Azure services or other SaaS/legacy apps
• Client-facing technical leadership experience in delivery programmes
• Desirable: UK public sector or regulated environments experience
• Willingness to learn VBCS/OPA/PCS and support workflow automation as needed
• Desirable: Oracle Integration Cloud certification or equivalent, exposure to Visual Builder Studio or Git-based tooling
• Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud or Fusion Data Intelligence and governance considerations
