Overview

In this Senior Lead role within the Accelerator Business Platform Team, you set technical direction across squads to deliver scalable platform services for customer-focused fintech solutions. You lead architecture and engineering standards while mentoring technical leaders, driving reliability, security, and operational excellence. You work in cross-functional squads to transform ideas into production-ready capabilities that empower customers worldwide. This role combines hands-on platform engineering with strategic leadership in a fast-growing, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities
  • Set technical direction for platform engineering across squads to align architecture with business goals and risk controls
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and establish engineering standards and best practices
  • Design and build composable, scalable infrastructure and platform services
  • Operate Kubernetes-based platform services; automate self-service, CI/CD, improve reliability and security via IaC and policy-as-code
  • Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability
  • Provide operational leadership for production systems in a you-build-it-you-run-it model (incidents, post-incident learning, reliability)
  • Lead evaluations with external vendors and internal teams to assess architecture and fit with information architecture
  • Grow communities of practice to promote adoption of new technologies
  • Coach and mentor engineers to build technical leadership and high performance
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectful team culture
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certifications in software engineering (CKAD, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, including leading technical delivery in complex environments
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Go, Java, Kotlin)
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security, with ability to set and drive standards
  • Proven experience in cloud-native environments and delivering Kubernetes-based deployments at meaningful scale
