Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java

In this role, you will design and deliver market-leading technology products for the Finance Technology team, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. You’ll shape technology direction within an agile environment and contribute to a culture that values DEI. You will tackle data-driven challenges, produce robust production code, and guide multiple feature teams across regions. • Execute software solutions, design, development, and debugging to deliver innovative results
• Define and lead technology and process implementations to meet firmwide objectives
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronization with systems
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring constraints are met
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to generate visualizations and reporting
• Identify data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice exploring new technologies
• Foster a diverse, inclusive, and respectful team culture
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple feature teams regionally and globally

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficient in Java or Spark
• Experience building, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern languages
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
• Understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas like cloud, AI/ML, or mobile
• Ability to solve data-oriented problems with SQL, Relational DB, Spark, NoSQL, optimizing for performance
