As Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will design and build advanced data engineering solutions within Corporate Risk Technology, shaping secure, scalable data platforms that support business objectives. You collaborate with agile teams, steer architectural direction, and drive innovation across multiple technical domains. You’ll lead efforts to automate remediation, improve operational stability, and influence team culture toward inclusion and continuous improvement. This role offers impact at scale in a market-leading risk technology environment.
Responsibilities- Create and deliver secure, high-quality production code for data-intensive apps
- Review code and contribute to design and testing across the lifecycle
- Identify automation opportunities to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and credentials
- Drive communities of practice to promote new technologies
- Foster a culture of opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Proficiency inEngineering & Architecture, AI/ML with hands-on experience on large-scale enterprise data platforms
- Advanced programming skills (Java, Python, C/C++, or C#)
- Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability
- Relational and NoSQL databases, data lake architectures
- Experience with modern languages and data querying
- Experience with large-scale data processing, microservices, API design, Kafka, Redis, MemCached, Observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Temporal)
- Proficiency in automation, CD, and SDLC
- Advanced understanding of agile, CI/CD, resilience, and security
