Senior Linux Azure Cloud Administrator

Manage Linux servers and Azure infrastructure in a hybrid Toronto contract focused on cloud operations, troubleshooting, and system availability.

This Senior Linux Administrator role requires 10+ years of experience with Linux system administration and Microsoft Azure Cloud services. You will support on-premises and Azure environments using RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and backups. The work includes administration, monitoring, security, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu servers
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines, storage, networking, and backups
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain server availability
• Administer accounts, permissions, SSH, file systems, and security patches
• Support migrations, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Linux System Administration experience
• Hands-on experience with RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Knowledge of Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, and backups
• Shell or Bash scripting experience
