Senior Load Balancing Engineer

As Senior Load Balancing Engineer, you will own and evolve the multi-vendor application delivery layer in a global, follow-the-sun environment. You enable scalable, reliable services for internal and external clients by shaping policies, automating operations, and addressing complex network issues. You work with cross‑functional teams to improve resilience and deployment efficiency, contributing to Morgan Stanley’s infrastructure foundation. • Lead development of new ideas and policies in your area
• Support a large fleet of devices and application flows to provide a cloud-like experience for developers
• Use advanced network tooling to diagnose faults, avoid failures, and resolve issues in distributed systems
• Collaborate with an in-house app management system to simplify deployment and management of delivery components
• Model configurations via the system’s relational data model and monitor services through a GUI console
• Address L2 escalations; focus on process improvement, automation, and scripting
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience executing IT strategy, delivery and complex initiatives
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS
• Unix system administration
• Deep understanding of F5 BigIP and A10 Thunder ADCs
• Proficiency in at least one programming language or scripting platform (e.g., Ansible, Perl, Python, PowerShell, or C#)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse teams
